Thomas Holt Milstead passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. T-Holt was a student at Mississippi State University studying for a dual degree in landscape architecture and landscape contracting. He served on several mission trips throughout his life, including a trip to Tarrapoto, Peru. Thomas Holt loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were his passions. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers as well.
Thomas Holt is survived by his parents, Daryl Thomas Milstead and Sandra Holt Milstead; brother, Cleveland Hugh Milstead; grandparents, Thomas Cleveland Milstead, Jean Murphy Milstead, Terry Loveless Holt and Linda Ingle Holt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The celebration of Thomas Holt’s life will be at 1pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Thomas Holt’s memory be made to the T-Holt Milstead Memorial Missions Fund. Contributions can be made at any Renasant Bank branch, or mailed to the Pelham branch at 3513 Pelham Pkwy, Pelham, AL 35124.
