Thomas William "Bill" Sinclair, passed away on July 8, 2026 at the age of 80. Bill was born in Boston, Massachusetts on 26 September 1945 to Thomas Clark Sinclair on Timberland, North Carolina and Ruth Marion Griffin Sinclair of Boston, MA. The family moved to Birmingham in 1950 and Bill attended Minnie Holman Grammar School, Woodlawn High School and the University of Alabama (Class of 1967), where he was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity. Bill retired after 51 years in the transportation industry and was a Benefactor Life Member of the National Rifle Association and Clan Sinclair Association USA.
He is survived by his beloved wife Beth Fountain Sinclair; his sons, Thomas O'Neal Sinclair and Kevin McNeill Sinclair (Caroline); his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ann Sinclair; his brothers, Robert Clark Sinclair (Donna) and Steven Jon Sinclair (Cathy), and their families.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
