

Todd Alan Decker, 51, of Alabaster, passed away on June 11, 2020. He was born in McKeesport, PA. Todd graduated from Klein Oak High School in Texas and received an Electronic Engineering degree from Rets Electronic Institute. He worked as an automation specialist at General Machinery for over 30 years and truly treasured his co-workers. He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was “ever faithful ever loyal” to his UAB Blazers. He enjoyed bowling and was a motorcycle enthusiast for several years. Most of all he was a terrific Band Dad and enjoyed going to every music concert in support of his kids.
Todd will be deeply missed by his family, his wife Julie and their two children, Kristen and Trent, as well as parents Wayne and Linda, his brother Neil and nieces Sydney and Allie.
Visitation with family will be held on June 24th from 10am – 11am at Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills followed by a private memorial service for family and close friends starting at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills – Project HOPE, 201 South Montgomery Highway, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216.
