Tom graduated from Woodlawn High School. He remained active in the Top Hatters. After high school, Tom served in the U.S. Marines until his honorable discharge. He volunteered many hour with Toys for Tots.
Tom never met a stranger and could carry on endless conversations. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
Tom is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dianne Pyle; one cousin, Dot Sudduth; two loyal and much-loved cats, Sara Lee and Snow; and numerous cherished friends.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by the 2 p.m. service at Southern Heritage Mausoleum, Pelham.
