Victor George Shunnarah

Victor George Shunnarah was born on April 13, 1963 to the union of The late George Saliba and Elizabeth Shunnarah in Birmingham, AL. Victor received his formal education at John Carroll Catholic High School in Birmingham, AL. Victor was a member of St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church. He worked for Issis and Sons Flooring as a Sales Manager for 23 years. He loved spending time with his wife and children. He enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball.

Victor was preceded in death by his father, George Saliba Shunnarah. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Katherine; his children, George, Alexandria, Gregory and Angelina; his mother, Elizabeth Shunnarah; one brother, Raymond Shunnarah (Jennifer); two sisters, Linda Qatsha (Joe) and Ida Tehrani (Dariush); 16 nieces and 9 nephews.

Visitation will be held at St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 9:00 - 11:00 AM with a funeral beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery. Masks are required at the church for the Celebration of Life Service. In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, the family asks that donations be made to American Red Cross.
