Warren Graves Porter, 71 of Hoover, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016. Warren was a graduate of Shades Valley High School and attended the University of Montevallo. He was in sales and marketing for the concrete and construction industry. Mr. Porter was a member of Vestavia Hills Baptist Church. He had a love of Auburn football, telling stories and making people laugh. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Porter is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Sadie Gay Porter. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Vinyard Porter; children, Paul (Donna) Porter and Lisa (Cris) Speegle; siblings, Rita Richards, Betty Martin and Clyde (Ann) Porter, Jr.; grandchildren, David (Regan) Broussard, Chase Porter, Tucker Phillips, Conner Phillips, Hayden Speegle, Porter Speegle; and great grandson, Colt Broussard.
The celebration of Mr. Porter’s life will be at 10am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church, with visitation immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VHBC Building Fund.
