Warren received his formal education at the University of Mississippi undergraduate and medical school in Oxford, MS. He furthered his education at the University of Texas Pediatric Residency Program in Galveston, Texas and attended the University of Colorado‘s Infectious Disease Fellowship Program in Denver.
Warren was united in holy matrimony with Nancy C. Stenger on 09 April 1977 in Denver, CO. They were blessed with 2 children.
Warren proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and retired with the rank of Brigadier General. He held many positions during his 30+ years of service to include Chief of Pediatrics at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington, Hospital Commander of 4 different hospitals, as well as, the Surgeon of the Pacific Rim of the U.S. Army.
Warren was a Fellow, American Academy of Pediatrics; a Fellow, American Academy of Healthcare Executives; and a member of the Order of Military Medical Merit to name just a few of his accomplishments.
He was also a member of The Episcopal Church of St. Francis Assisi in Indian Springs, Alabama for a number of years.
Warren was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Michele Todd; his parents, Warren Sr. and Mary Owen Todd. He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Nancy S. Todd; his children, Scott, Bryan, and Andrew Todd; his grandchildren, Arielle, Rachel, Brendan, and Aleah Todd; and his brother, John G. Todd.
A funeral service will be held on 27 July 2021 at 11:00 A.M. and the interment of ashes will follow at St. Francis of Assisi. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund.
