Wendy Sue Jantz, age 52, of Chelsea, Alabama passed away on February 20, 2024. She was born to Melvin K. Jantz and Sharon Hall on March 3, 1971 in Oakland, CA. Wendy was a graduate of Odessa High School in Odessa, Washington, and went on to further her education at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. She dedicated her time to proudly serving her country in the United States Navy. Wendy was currently working for Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum for the past 3 years as an Education Coordinator where she developed many lasting relationships.
Wendy had a passion for riding her motorcycle, spending time with her family, and growing her relationship with the Lord. She also was a proud member of the American Legion Post 255 in Fultondale, Al.
She is preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her uncle Bill.
Wendy leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Amber Anderson (Jared), Jacob, Genovese, Savanah Cooley, Trace Cooley, Samuel Williams; grandchildren; Luna Genovese, Wednesday Genovese, Lyla Anderson, Ava Anderson; parents, Sharon Hall (Carl) and Melvin Jantz (Kathy); siblings, Stacey Vrem, Janice Meats, and Mellissa Bower.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am with a Celebration of Life to begin at 10:30 am at Double Oak Community Church in Chelsea, AL.
Family request memorial contributions to be made to Barber Motorsports Museum Education Department in her honor.
