William "Bill" James Borgini Jr passed away September 30, 2016 at UAB hospital. Bill attended catholic grade schools and graduated from John Carroll High School. He attended Auburn University and graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was an active Boy Scout and earned the Eagle Scout badge. Bill loved repairing older model VW's especially his black convertible. He had great affection for his dogs. He was employed by BellSouth for many years.
He is survived by his mother Mary Jo Borgini-Nicastro and his very close friend Mark Vally. Also many close cousins, especially Phillip & Marilyn Mangina, Anthony & Stephanie Mangina, William & Denise Mangina, Mark Mangina, Chris & Cassie Mangina, Elizabeth Borgini Cooney, and Michael Borgini.
Bill was preceded in death by his father William Borgini, Sr and stepfather Vincent J Nicastro. Grandparents Narchie & Elizabeth Borgini and Mary & Joseph Orazine.
Visitation will be Tuesday Oct 4th from 9:00 - 10:00 am with funeral mass following the visitation at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hoover. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Peter's Church building fund.
