William Jackson "Jack" Kimbrell

Jack graduated from Oakman High School. He was employed for several years with BellSouth until his retirement.

In his leisure, Jack loved to watch anything related to University of Alabama athletics. He liked to travel with his wife, Linda Ann Sanderson Kimbrell, and they often included family. He and Linda treated nieces Stacey Carden Ramirez and Jennifer Carden Tidmore, along with nephew Charles Ray Sanderson Jr., as their own children and brought them on trips during their adolescent years.

Jack and Linda moved from Huntsville, Alabama to Chelsea in 2011 to live closer to their close friends, Joe and Sandy Zhang and children, Emily and Chris Zhang, whom they considered their own grandchildren. Residing in Chelsea brought Jack and Linda closer to their great-nephew, Charles Ian Tidmore, also.

Jack was predeceased by Linda, to whom he was married for 40 years. In addition to Stacey and her spouse Kirk Ramirez, Jennifer and her spouse Jeff Tidmore, Charles Ray Jr., Emily, Chris, and Ian, survivors include Jack's brother, Mason Kimbrell (Peggy) of Jasper, Alabama, and sister-in-law, Kay Sanderson Carden (Randel Carden).
