He was born in Anniston, Alabama to the late George Owen Wesson and Grace Lorine Wesson. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was a very talented photographer.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Lockhart Wesson; his children, Julie Marie Wesson Kirk, Jonathan Scott Wesson (Jackie), Catherine Wesson Brock (Clayton), and Christopher Clarkson Cunningham; and his grandchildren, Alexander Jade Brock, Avery Samuel Brock, Cameron Leighton Brock, Hunter Wesson, Arlie Scout Wesson, Brian Alan Kirk, Jr., and William Daniel Kirk. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Wesson (Gaye), and his sister, Linda Wesson.
A memorial service will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
