William Embry Wyatt of Vestavia Hills, age 88, went to the Lord on April 19th, 2015. He proudly served during World War II as a paratrooper in the United States Army. He also graduated from The University of Alabama with a business degree. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Frank Wyatt Sr. and Nannie Lee; sister, Betty Jo Kaveler. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue Cooper Wyatt; son, Walter (Cindy) Wyatt; daughter, Susan Masterson; grandchildren, Brian, Sharon, and Lindsey Masterson, Nathan Wills; brother, James Frank Wyatt Jr.; sister, Margaret Northrup; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday April 22nd at 1pm with a visitation starting one hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Embry’s name to the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham.
