Alford is preceded in death by his parents, Alford Sr. and Pauline Wingard; brother, Paul Wingard.
Alford is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda Wingard; children, Kayla Yarbrough (Jay) and Alex Snipes (Mariah); grandchildren, AJ and Avery Yarbrough. Alford is also survived by his nephew, PJ Wingard; niece, Heather Wingard and many great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 35125, US, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
