

Funeral service for Elder Armond Ritch, 87, of Pell City, will be 3:00pm on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with Rev. Rickey Harcrowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cook Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Cooks Springs. Mr. Ritch died Tuesday.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Armond Ritch (Deborah) and William A. Ritch (Stephanie); one daughter, Patsy Dockery (Tom); six grandchildren, Jason Ritch (Anna), Joseph Ritch, Ashlee Wolfe (Harley), Nila Shockley (Shelby), Chris Allen (Emily), Leah Powell (Curtis); seven great-grandchildren, Ella, nick, Rhiannon, Lorelei, Caleb, Benjamin, and Brooklyn; and one great-great-granddaughter, Quora. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Baker Ritch and a great-granddaughter, Skylee Allen.
Mr. Ritch was retired from Conner Steel and was a Primitive Baptist Pastor for almost 40 years; with his last church being Liberty Primitive Baptist Church in Summiton, AL. He was an avid fisherman.
