He is survived by two nephews, Fred Dye and James Dye (Katherine); three nieces, Linda Gilliam, Teresa Martin (Stenson), and Rita Welch (Bruce); and several great nieces and great nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Oma Dye; brothers, Austin Dye and John Dye; and nephew, Willie Dye.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 27, at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 2:00pm.
