

Bennie Joe Hyche, of Cook Springs, Alabama, age 87, passed away November 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mildred Hyche Earnest and his wife of 64 years, Marlyn Bridgewater Hyche.
Bennie is survived by his son Chris (Donna). He is also survived by his granddaughters Heather Harper (Matt) and Abbie Hyche. He also leaves behind a beloved great grandson, Alden Harper along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews. To a host of these he was known as “Paw Paw Bennie” or “Uncle Bennie”.
He was a longtime member of the Logan Martin Church of Christ where he served for many years as an elder. Bennie loved traveling, especially out west and Alaska and was a cowboy at heart. Bennie was always a calm voice, a strong shoulder and wise council for many who were in need.
Funeral service will be held at Logan Martin Church of Christ on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Oakman, AL at 2:30 PM on Tuesday.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations may be made to Maywood Christian Camp in Hamilton, AL.
