Charles (Chuck) "Sonny" F. Champion Jr., age 83, of Piedmont, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Sonny was born May 2, 1938 in Alabama to Charles Franklin and Ola Mae Virginia Stephens Champion Sr.

Sonny is survived by daughter: Becky Parmer (Steven); sons: Brad Champion (Melissa), Brian Champion (Connie) and Bennie Champion (Jessica); eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister: Marie Clinkscales; and brothers: David Champion, Bill Champion and Terry Champion.

Sonny was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanette Champion; parents: Charles and Virginia Champion; sister: Angela Champion; and brothers: Curtis Champion, Eddie Champion and Ronnie Champion.

A visitation for Sonny will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home followed by a celebration of life funeral service. An interment will occur Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St Clair Memorial Gardens.
