Cheryl Williams

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Lynn Williams (Hambright) beloved Mother, Grandmother, Spouse, Sister and Friend. Cheryl was a native of Pell City, Alabama. Born on September 10th 1956. She passed away June 19th 2025. Cheryl's life was a testament of her devotion to her family, friends, and her animals. Cheryl was a devoted spouse and a proud mother of five. She leaves behind her spouse, Lester Paul Vollrath and her children Janet Harper (Williams), Adam (Tina) Williams, Greg Williams, Angel Williams, Daniel Williams and Billy Rayfield. Her Grandkids, Christopher Harper, Kaley Bozeman, Ethan Harper, Gracie Harper, Gary Meeks, and Angel Meeks. Great Grandson, Aaron Bozeman. Surviving Siblings Marilyn Hannah, Renee (Johnny) Kay, Pat Rowe, Cecil (Juanita) Hambright and Bobby (Gwen) Wolsey. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cheryl is preceded in death with her mother, Marion Wolsey, Father, Thomas A. Hambright, and her brothers, Michael Wolsey, and Thomas D. Hambright. Cheryl's nurturing spirit found in her love for her family and animals. She was an avid animal lover whose compassion brought numerous pets into her heart and home over the years. Cheryl will be remembered by her big heart and loving hands, the endlessly caring and loving presence in both big and small moments. Cheryl's kindness and love was her signature and legacy that she left behind. Cheryl will live on in our hearts and minds through our memories that we will cherish forever and always. We will celebrate her life even after we meet again at the Gates of Heaven.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday July 10, 2025 at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama.
