Cindy Glidewell

Visitation will be Sunday, February 09, 2025, at Lincoln Methodist Church 2:00pm-3:00pm. A service will follow at 3:00pm.

Cindy loved her 35-year career with 5 Star Food Service where she built lifelong friendships with her co-workers and customers. She also loved her after retirement second career as a volunteer with the Lincoln Food Pantry. She was always excited to tell the story of how the food pantry makes a difference in the lives of our community.

A lifelong member of Lincoln Methodist Church. She enjoyed her time with the women’s group, their trips and outreach ministry.

Cindy is survived by her daughters, Kristy M. Smith (Jonathan) and Jamie Mizzell; grandchildren, Gavin Smith, Carrington Smith, Lilah Kate Smith, Madison Goins (Casey), Kynslee Lomeli (Locke), Logan Lomeli (Baylee), and Jacob Sheffield (Ava); great-grandchildren, Maverick, Brexley, Madelyn, Elliana, and Bodie; sisters, Marsha Martin (Bobby), Kathy Rodgers (Tony), and Tracy Cain; and several nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mildred Glidewell; son-in-law, Jose “Joe” Lomeli; granddaughter Laityn Hope McDanal.

Pall bearers are Jonathan Smith, Gavin Smith, Logan Lomeli, Casey Goins, Locke McDanal and Cordell Cain.

In honor of her love and concern for others, in lieu of flowers, the family ask donations to be made to the Lincoln Food Pantry, P O Box 756, Lincoln, AL 35096.
