Danny Ray Staples

Danny was a graduate of Pell City High School class of 1969. He married Beth (Coshatt) Staples on December 24, 1969.

Danny was a welder, working at the Anniston Army Depot for 36 years, retiring in 2008. He was a volunteer firefighter for Cook Springs Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was also an avid beekeeper and was vice president of the Central St. Clair Beekeepers Association.

Danny is survived by his wife of 52 years: Beth; son: Rodney Staples (Whitney); daughter: Amy Staples Edwards (Scott); six grandchildren and their spouses; two great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Dawn Staples; brother: Garry Staples (Denise); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnie and Delores Staples; and brother: Richard Staples.

A visitation for Danny will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:30 PM at Cook Springs Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Dean Staples, Drew Staples, Ben Castleberry, Evan Edwards, Tyler Edwards, Nathan Edwards, Charles Wilson, Dustin Preslar and Matthew Edwards.
