PELL CITY - Funeral service for Darrin Wayne Franklin, age 50, will be Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will be at Blue Eye Cemetery in Lincoln. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Franklin passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn F. Garrett and Odis L. Franklin.
He is survived by wife, Faires G. Franklin; sons, Robert Bradley (Suzie) Jones, John Paul (Kristina) Jones; daughters, Brittany Franklin, Lacey B. (Andrew) Coffiey; 11 grandchildren, Shyana Harris, J.T. Tollison, Andrew Coffiey, Urijah Coffiey, Brooke Jones, Zac Nabors, Ethan Hubbert, Michael Boshell, Cheyanne Brown, Brenden Stewart, Leya Jones; great-grandchild, Hunter Donnall; 2 sisters, Denise Franklin Demuth, Donna Franklin Day.
