Duane L. Blevins

Duane Blevins, age 74 of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Peggy Blevins and his sister, Charlotte Stratton. Duane is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra Blevins; sons, Mike Blevins (Karla) and Tommy Blevins; sister Sandy Suitt (Tony); and brother-in-law, Gary Stratton. Duane was in the trucking business for many years. He was a resident of Cook Springs Nursing Home at the time of his passing where he was President of the Residents Council. He made sure that everyone had soda and popcorn at the Uno game day on Saturdays! He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Pell City. I'm sure when Duane arrived in heaven, the "balcony crew" from Second Baptist Church were all there to meet him with open arms!!! Most of all Duane loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Duane loved his Lord, his family, and his church family. He shared his love for Christ with anyone who would listen. A Celebration of Life will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the 231 Music House in Pell City.
