She is survived by daughters, Donna Atchison, Freda Bobo, and Gwinda Abernathy (Bobby); son, William James Burkett III; grandchildren, Crystal, Autumn, Forrest, Stephanie, Amanda, Leighann, Alyssa, Brandon and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Nathaniel, Seth, Raylen, Koen, Ava, Robert, EJ, Maci, Hayden, Tucker, Hensly, Scottie and Gracie; and great-great-grandchild, Tate.
She is preceded in Heaven by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. Brown; husband, William James “Bill” Burkett, Jr; son, Alan Ray Burkett; son’s-in-love, Dale W. Atchison and Lowell D. Bobo; daughter-in-love, Melissa S. Burkett.
A visitation will be held on Sunday April 12th at Kilgroe Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest in the Beulah Cemetery in Sterrett AL.
