He is survived by four sisters, Wanda Redmon (Dave), Denise Bessette, Vickie Cooper (Jeff Peak), and Brenda Cropp; brother, James Merrymon (Karen); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A visitation will be held for Garry at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City on Sunday, January 12, beginning at 1:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
