Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Gaines; two sons, Stephen Gaines and David Gaines (Wendy); four grandchildren, Bryant Gaines, Hadleigh Gaines, Ashton Gaines, and Carson Gaines. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Guinn, Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00am at the Kilgroe Funeral Home of Pell City, with the family receiving from 10:00am until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Forest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham.
