Homer is preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Mary Garrett; son, Homer "Bubba" Lee Garrett Jr.; sister, Martha Norman; brothers, Raymond Garrett, Donald Garrett and Richard Garrett.
Homer is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Garrett; daughters, Donna Perry and Teresa Engelbrecht (Paul); grandchildren, Audra Perry, Casey Engelbrecht and Heather Garrett.
Homer Lee Garrett Sr. was a resident of Pell City, Alabama and was a pastor of The Word of Truth House of Prayer in Leeds, AL.
A graveside service will be held at Macedonia North Cemetery, located at 37 Co Rd 468, Vincent, Alabama, 35178, United States. The service is scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
