James K Ritch

James K. "Pop" Ritch age 86 of Pell City died Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Mr.Ritch was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ritch; son Larry Dale Ritch; and daughter, Sandra Faye Ferguson. He was retired from Connors Steel in Birmingham. James was a longtime volunteer fireman for the Cook Springs Fire Department. "Pop" is survived by sons: Stephen Ritch and Aulton G. Ritch; daughters: Shelia Nee, Rene Ritch, Terry Ritch Hurst, and Beverly Bowman; brother, Armond Ritch; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Service is Saturday, November 17 at 11:00 am at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel in Pell City with burial to follow at Cook Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the service time.

My THoughts have been with the entire family over the last week. I will always cherish my memories of Mr Ritch. He was very special to me and I considered a honor to get to know and love him. I Pray that you all have wonderful memories to comfort you at this time. He was a good man and he loved his family and talked about you often.
