SPRINGVILLE – Funeral service for James Alton Williams, age 75, will be Thursday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pell city and of the Douglas Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Phillips High School and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
He is survived by his children, Darren (Stephanie) Williams, Melanie (Michael) Bailey, Douglas (Sherranna) Williams; step-son, Jeff (Susan) Daniel; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
