Jamie Davis Truitt

Jamie is survived by her husband Chuck Truitt and daughter Katie-Ann Truitt. Other surviving loved ones are her parents, Ann and Don Arnett, brother, Richard Davis, sister-in-law, Alethea Truitt, brother-in-law, Spencer Truitt, and special friends Karen Morris, Donnis Reed, and Cassie Morgan.

As a graduate of Pell City High Class of 1990, she attended Auburn University where she graduated in 1999 with a degree in the field of Hospitality. Her specialty was Hotel and Restaurant Management which opened doors to careers she totally enjoyed.

She was employed with The Wynfrey Hotel and Shula's Restaurant as the Assistant Director of the Food and Beverage Department. Employment with Outback Steak House provided another level of management opportunities. She ended her career path at The Hilton Hotel were she was employed as the Director of the Food and Beverage Department.

Throughout her short life, she traveled to many health institutions searching for answers to her many health issues. She was always covered in prayer by her large, extensive family and always concerned church family.

She grew up in New Hope Baptist Church surrounded by the families of James and Evelyn Ingram and Johnny and Sylvia Truitt. At age 7, she became a member of New Hope. In 2004, she married Chuck at New Hope.

On Saturday, August 21, at New Hope Baptist Church, Pell City, Alabama, Her Memorial Service will be held. Visitation at 3 p.m. Memorial Service at 4 p.m

Jamie had a passion and love for all animals. She has left behind 4 cats and 3 dogs which miss her already.
