John is survived by a host of nieces and Nephews.
John served in the Air Force then later went to Sanford and the University of Alabama, where he received his Masters in Education. He worked over 20 years in education administration before leaving to serve a McGraw-Hill publishing Company.
A graveside service for John will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther Jr. Drive, Birmingham, Alabama.
