I just found out that my precious friend has passed. Kayla and I went to RN school together at GSCC. Kayla was a kind soul whose smile would light up any dark place. After graduation I would see her from time to time in Wal-Mart in Springville, and we would talk for long periods of time and catch up with one another's career and family life. My prayers go out to this family.

Sincerely,

Kayla was a great person, mom and a wonderful nurse. I worked with Kayla at trinity hospital and she would always make the day so much better. I’m so sorry for the loss. My heart is broken. I’m praying for Carson and the family.

I just met Kayla a couple of weeks ago when she was assigned as my Mom's Hospice nurse at Village at Cook Springs nursing home. She was so excited about her son starting 10th grade at Springville and was so kind to me about the concerns I had for my Mom's care. We last spoke on a conference call on Tuesday, August 6. In this brief time, I knew she had a a special love for her patients and their families. I'm so sorry for your loss of your sweet Mom, sister and daughter. I pray God will carry all of you through this difficult time.🙏♥✝

I didn't know Kayla that long , or that well. But it didn't take much time, or much conversation, to get to know Kayla. She was pure love and spirit, pure love for her Lord. It was obvious from the start what a truly wonderful person she was. We shared the loss of our sons, which is how I came to know her. But I wish I had had more time to truly get to know her, because it was obvious she had so much love and joy to spread. Just her smile was enough to light up your heart. I am so terribly sorry for the loss of this beautiful person from our earth. But heaven is brighter than ever because of her.

I met Kayla many years ago. That beautiful smile and fun loving sweet spirit! We fell out of touch but I think she knew I loved her, and ever so often when we talked it was like we hadn't been apart. My heart is broken for her precious family.

I met Kayla through a class at our church. She was taking her grief and trying to apply it to help someone else. We bonded over that. She then shared her story of her son and asked if I wanted to go to a walk. So I said yes. We walked and honored her boy as she called him. We laughed with her family at “pies & pints” I’ve been a little more aware of sunsets bc of her. I’m so glad I walked, so glad I know her. May she enjoy heaven’s sunsets! Love you and miss you dear friend!

I remember dancing and beauty pageants when we were little. Kayla always had the most infectous smile! Always laughing and always kind. I've known this family for as long as I can remember and my heart is absolutely broken for them and for Carson. My prayers and thoughts are with you all!
