He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Angela Carroll; daughter, Jessica Thomas (Bradley); son, Chris Carroll (Lynanne); grandchildren, Harlie Thomas, Astrid Carroll, Stella Thomas, Ronan Carroll, Tobias Carroll, and Selah Carroll; sisters, Pam Hall and Nita Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Dean Carroll; and brother Sonny Carroll.
