I met Mr. and Mrs. Griffey when I started working at Northside. He became my Buddy instantly. Whenever he came to the office, he greeted me with a hug. He was the sweetest person I had ever met. I’m thankful to have been able to meet him.

I met Mr. & Mrs. Griffey as a caregiver a couple of years ago. They quickly became like family! I look forward everyday to going just in time for him to snicker about a muffin and banana! His smile was infectious he never had a bad day! I love the stories he shared with me about his life and their life together! From how they met,the odds against them in the family making it being so young( guess 69 years later you showed them), to the travels they shared and so much more! Even after they went back to Florida they kept in touch with me like family! No matter what he was going through his heart was always worried about someone else mainly his beautiful wife! After I was diagnosed with cancer the sweet text letters and checkups on me from them meant so much! You never meet anyone in this life on accident and I truly thank God for placing y'all in my life for the time he did! Rest in peace my friend I will see you again one day!
