Leanne went bird hunting with her Uncle Dennis. She sang the entire way there. Not once did we turn the radio on. She learned a few lessons that trip too but those memories are ours to cherish. LeMa is with me everyday and she is still doing things her way.

3 weeks today....It still hasn't set in completely and I'm not sure if I want it to....my heart aches selfishly that you aren't on earth but rejoices that you are no longer in pain. You touched so many people's lives, yet none like mine.  We are blood. We will always be and I'm so thankful for the time I did have with you. I'll see you later. Never goodbye. Always later.....

Thinking about you alot today Bae... I made peace with you being gone but still miss my bestie everyday... Sleep easy sis.

My best memory of Leanne was on a camping trip when she was very young.  All the adults left camp to go to the Oregon  Caves so Grandma and I babysat Leanne and her sister Jill.  To entertain them I decided to make mud pies and decorate them.  Both girls were shocked and looked to Grandma to see if it would be ok.  Of course, Grandma said go for it.  We made and decorated mud pies all afternoon and they had a ball.  Couldn't wait for Mom to come back and show her.  I think Donna thought we were nuts as the girls were a bit dirty, but she said oh they look so good.  We had a real good time camping with both girls. Leanne rest in peace, and Donna, Wayne, Jill and family we send our prayers.
