Louise Gurley

LINCOLN - Funeral Service for Louise Gurley, age 76, will be held Saturday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Coosa Valley Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gurley passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Ruby Goss; husband, Alfred Gurley; brothers, Jim Goss, Richard Goss, Johnny Goss; sister-in-law, Monica Goss. She was a promoter/co-owner of Talladega Short Track. Retired from AIDB and loved to travel. Her most precious things were her grandchildren. She was a member of Coosa Valley Baptist Church. She was an avid race fan and Alabama fan.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Rita) Donahoo; grandchildren, Michael, Ryan & Maddie Donahoo, David Keene, Lily, Alyssa & Cole Collier; sisters-in-law, Barbara Goss, Vivian Goss; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Carol Gann, Sarah & Cramer Dearman, Johnny Frank, Debbie Brasher & Lynn “Preacher” Phillips.
