So sorry for your loss I never met Mary Ann's side of family she talked of you each time so felt like I new you. I thought highly of Mary Ann and she will be missed. I am Maeola Smith's daughter (Uncle Lloyd's niece) and was trying to locate Mary Ann to advise her of mom's passing. She and mom would talked and check up on each other. My heart broke when my Aunt Jo passed but Mary Ann was a blessing for Uncle Lloyd and she was such a sweet spirit. She and mom connected so well and that was truly Gods blessing.

It was hard to stop calling you Mrs Ammons when you became a Bearden, so I just started calling you MawMaw. You didn't seem to mind, because that was who you are. Your heart was always filled with love and compassion and positivity. You were always like my own mother to me. Afterall, I've spent over 40 years in your family and practically grew up with yall. I have tons of memories that I have reflected on over the past month or so..way too many to share. But I just want you to know how very thankful I am for the way you raised your son to be just like you...strong, loving, compassionate, caring and positive. You will always remain in my heart and memories, MawMaw. I love you so so very much. Rest in Heaven until we meet again. What a joyous day that will be!!!
