RIVERSIDE – Funeral Service for Mavis Juanita Allison Wood, age 81, will be Monday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Wood passed away Friday, March 31, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, John William Wood; sisters, Ruth Jordan, Vivian “Sunny” Rogers and brother, Kenneth “Bud” Allison.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Janet(John) Landrum, Nancy (Richard) Nixon; grandchildren, Erin Neal (Matt) Koons, Abbie Jordan Neal, Alyssa Reagan Neal, Allison Morgan Nixon; sister Jeane Gordon.
