She is survived by her niece, Gwen Grisgby (Howard); and nephew, Roland Burns (Sarah).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Ethel Hurd.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 31 at Hepzibah Baptist Church in Talladega beginning at 10:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. She will laid to rest in the New Hope Cemetery.
