ASHVILLE – Funeral service for Ollie G. Armstrong, Sr., age 86, will be held Saturday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Armstrong passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. He is preceded in death by his son, George “Buddy” Armstrong and son-in-law, Larry Hulsey.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Armstrong; son, Kenneth Armstrong; 3 daughters, Margaret Hulsey, Marilyn (Charles) Ellis, Vickie May; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Armstrong; sister, Katie Harper.
