I have known Paul since he was a couple years old. I got close to Paul in his adult life when he took on the responsibility of caring for him grandma and toddler brother while working full time and maintaining the family farm. Paul could be counted on to assist anyone in need. His smile would light up the room and he was always joking with everyone around him.

I know he has been so happy in the last few years to find a great woman to love and have children of his own. He was always there to care for his stepkids like they were his own. I am so glad he had found a happy place and so sad his happiness was cut short.

I hope his family finds comfort in knowing Paul was loved by a lot of people and will be missed.

My thoughts are with you, Brian, and all of Paul's family. I am so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. Although I didn't know Paul's family, I am sure that he was the best husband and father.
I knew Paul from a young age. He spent a lot of time with my daughter and me when he was younger, and was always a great kid! He turned out to be a very fine and caring young man, Brian. The last time I saw Paul, he helped me move some furniture from Des Moines to my home in New Sharon. 50 miles one way! But that was Paul, a very kind, helpful person. And very smart!! I am sure that your memories of Paul will help you through all of this, but it is so sad to see such a successful, young man gone in his prime. My love to all.
