She is survived by her two daughters, Vera Childers and Valerie Mason (Jerry); sister, Anne Vaughn; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Charles Burks and David Logan; and two sons, Charles Burks and William Burks.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Birmingham at 10:00am.
