

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Vicki K. Mullinax and Lisa K. Abercrombie; grandchildren, Matthew Mullinax (Jana), Amanda Jones (Wes), Tyler Stewart; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Mullinax, Logan Mullinax (Lynda), Kiley Mullinax, Kayleigh Jones, Kensley Jones and Kooper Jones. Peggy is also survived by her sisters, Mary Sweatt, Jane Hays; Special niece and nephew, Kay and John Lonergan; life long friend, Myrtha McKnight Roe (Tilda).
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, W.B. and Lera Robertson; husband, Johnnie E. Kendrick; Infant daughter, Anita Faye Kendrick; brothers, Milton Robertson, Goldie Robertson, Charles Robertson; sisters, Hilda Watkins, Sarah Kimberly and niece, JoAnna Lewis.
Peggy lived her life as a loving wife, mother, Grammie, aunt and friend. She played a great role in helping raise and mold her grandchildren who adore her. The family would like to thank Lakeside hospice (Shirley, Tamesha, Tracy W, Karson, Leigh Ann, Kristin, Christy and Hannah, as well as chaplain Clay Cain). Thank you to New Life Church (Jane Perry and Jill Abbott) for the many acts of kindness. The family would also like to thank Mary Monday for her love and care.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 351251705, followed by a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at (Boykin Truitt) New Hope Cemetery in Pell City. Pastor Wes Jones will be officiating.
