Philip A. Daniels was born in Ocilla, GA. on November 19, 1960. At the ripe old age of three days, his mom and dad moved their “special boy” to Homewood, AL. where he attended Homewood Elementary and Homewood High. After which, he attended Sanford University where he graduated with honors. He was a lifelong member at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
In 1985 he married his wife, Carolyn Franklin Daniels. They have been married 38 years and have always resided in Pell City, AL on the lake, having no children, but a wonderful mix of fur babies to spoil and dote on.
Philip was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved the sport of skeet. A long-time member of Red Eagle Gun Club, where he enjoyed the sport, fellowship, and lasting friends of the whole South Eastern Conference.
Philip also gained many personal friends through the workplace at Riverside Refractories/Allied Mineral Global, where he put in 34 years.
Philip is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruth Graves Daniels and Leon Daniels of Homewood, AL.
He has wonderful families on all sides, the Franklins, Graves, and Daniels. He will be missed by all who enjoyed his dry wit and little boy charm. His best times were spent at family gatherings enjoying the love of God, family, and our fur babies.
God love and keep you Philip until we meet again.
Love you always,
Carolyn
(Mrs. D)
