Shea was a proud graduate of Pell City High School and the University of Alabama. In 2022, while working full-time at U.S. Steel, Shea earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Shea was a devoted husband and father, a faithful son and brother, and a wonderful friend to many. Shea had many loves and interests, but none were greater than his daughters, Kate and Jules. Shea made certain that his girls received everything they needed, and he made sure they were always where they needed to be, from birthday parties to cheerleading practice, and for all their other numerous activities.
Funeral services for Shea will be held on September 21, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church located at 75 Cogswell Avenue, Pell City, Alabama 35125. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the memorial service will start at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Boykin-Truitt New Hope Cemetery immediately after the service.
In a wonderful act of kindness, Shea’s friends have established a bank account for the benefit of Shea’s daughters, Kate and Jules, at Metro Bank in Pell City. Donations can be mailed to Metro Bank at 800 Martin Street South, Pell City, Alabama 35128, Attn: Matthew Pope. Checks should be made payable to Metro Bank and reference the Moses family in the memo line.
