Roger Allen Stratton

Roger was a man of God that dearly loved his family. He was a craftsman and mechanical genius. He never found a mechanical problem that he couldn't solve. He loved doing for others and helping them with their mechanical challenges. Roger was also a gardener extraordinar.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Edgar Stratton; his mother Inez Stratton and his father-in-law Rev. Tillmon Harris; his brother Chester "Chet" Stratton, his sister Bernice S. Chandler and his special brother-in-law Steven Harris Sr.; his granddaughter Angel Baby Stratton, and his granddaughter Breanna Kay Stratton.

Roger is survived by his wife, Sharon Harris Stratton; his daughter Katrina Stratton; and his son Nathaniel Stratton (Kayla); his grandson Brayden Stratton and his grandson Brantley Stratton; his mother-in-law Eleanor Fae Harris; his sister-in-law Rhonda Pepple (Mike); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends

A visitation for Roger will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave N, Pell City, Alabama 35125. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Pell City Bible Methodist Church, Hwy 231, Pell City, AL. An interment will occur Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 3:30 PM in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
