Tonya, Ron and Russell,

We pray deeply as the family mourns the loss of a unique and talented individual. Trey is your son, and brother and also our nephew...
He filled our hearts with love, kindness and laughter. Always smiling and wanting to please. We only had daughters, but he was like a "son" to us. He just fit in, our girls loved him as a brother and miss him as much as well do. He enjoyed the same movies, board games, and swimming ... "Marco Polo" were the days, and many boat rides.
Oh, I can say so much more...
May you know that Trey was a perfect gentleman and always wanting to make you proud. He succeeded! The grieving process will last our life times here on this earth, but our love for Trey is eternal! We all will be joined as a family again in Heaven, until then... Heaven is a better place with Trey in it.

Love Aunt Debra, Uncle Mark, cousins: Rosie, Bekah and Maddie Waddell

Dear Trey,
I know you can't read this note, but I know you can feel my aching heart. I miss you so much and that contagious smile! We always had the best conversations and enjoyed many things together. I will miss the horse shows, shopping trips, lake times, and our last Thanksgiving we shared. Why were you taken so soon? I'd rather it be me taken than you... your life was just taking off and I already have enjoyed a full life. You were so talented, kind and loving to everyone you ever met. You surely are my sunshine, and now our tears will be the rain. Heaven has you now and we have your wonderful memories.
I will love you for eternity, and mourn as long as I am on this earth. I have peace knowing I will join you and many other departed loved ones when it is my time. Till then, I will wait patiently and keep you in my heart and dreams.
Love, Aunt Debra

Dear Peters Family,
There is nothing I can write that will express my sympathy for your tragic loss. I am so grateful I was able to get to know Trey when he and Heather lived with me during his first year in Atlanta.

Please know I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

To Trey's family,
As an educator and father, it is always painful to see someone as vibrant as your son taken from this earth at such a young age. He so recently sat in classrooms and he will be missed by all of his teachers, mentors, classmates, and friends both in Alabama and Atlanta. On behalf of my family and friends who knew him well here, please accept our condolences. May your faith sustain you as you grieve this beautiful soul now and for years to come. Trey was a proud and honored contributor to the Atlanta community and he will be dearly missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Christian James Zsilavetz

Trey always included me and made me feel like part of the group in the JSU drama department. Performing with him in “Death by Darkness” was a highlight of my time there. His and presence were a gift to everyone who knew him. ❤️

Words can not express how devastated we all are. Trey was like a part of our family for the last 15 years. Such a vibrant sweet caring man. He was such a great part of Heathers life . I know she will carry his memory in her heart always, as will we. They were quite the pair. I pray God holds you in his arms to provide comfort and healing.
