Ruth Moore Kilgroe

PELL CITY - Funeral service for Ruth Moore Kilgroe, age 92, will be held Tuesday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. from New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Ms. Kilgroe passed away February 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, William F. “Babe” Kilgroe; brothers, Roy Moore, James Moore; sister, Emma Jo Harris.

She is survived by her sons, William Keith (Carol) Kilgroe, Kenneth Wayne (Nancy) Kilgroe; grandchildren, Whit (Emily) Kilgroe, Lara Kilgroe, Paul Kilgroe; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Kilgroe, Caroline Kilgroe; sister, Frances Vincent; many other beloved nieces and nephews.

Longtime resident of Pell City and New Hope Baptist Church. Active member of the JOY Club, Pell City Senior Citizens Center and her Sunday School Class.

Pallbearers will be, Tommy Harris, Michael Harris, Jim Moore, Paul Kilgroe, Whit Kilgroe, David Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers, Durwood Vincent, Mike Harris, Fred Kilgroe.
