Hi I'm marlee gulledge I was one of his friends we weren't that close but we still talked and had memories I'm writing this 2-3 years later bc I couldn't get the guts to do it before I passed him grave yesterday and have been thinking abt him for months and don't know why and ig he's telling me to tell ppl not to forget him bc I feel like pple have or just don't care I will always remember u tanner and I still have the confetti from ur birthday party we had at school after u passed LLT🕊forever 11

Me and tanner were best friends since kindergarten he helped me through a lot and he was the best friend I could ever ask for he always made me happy and if I have 1 minute with him rn I would hug him

Happy Birthday!!! I can't beleave that it's already been almost 2 years since you passed. I wan't you to know that I miss you so so so much and I hope your have a wonderful Birthday up there.  By the way I left you a Happy Birthday note. I hope that you'll read it. Ok well I guess it's time for me to go so just know that I hope you have a great birtday!!!

As you all know it's been about a year and a half since Tanner passed. With that being said I'm so so sorry that it has taken me this long for me to right this. Look... I don't even know if Tanner would have or even now considered me a friend, but I know that I love him very very much. He probably never saw me as his best friend, but I saw him as mine. He probably didn't see me as his family, but I saw him as my brother. And yes I know that people are going to think that that's really weird of me to say or even think and i'm sorry for that. So I guess what i'm trying to say is... Thank You, Lacy and Trevor for having and raising such an amazing son, student, brother, and friend. He played a huge role in my life and I know that if he was here he would say "Dang, y'all have done all of this just for me"!

He was such a good kid my brother was a friend of Tanner and he so devastated when he found Tanner died 

I know I’m late sorry,
But I just want to say me and Tanner were hitting it off we went to VBS together and we became really good friends. when I heard that Tanner passed away I was devastated. we all were and still are from this day forward I will always have Tanner Rudolph Carleton in my heart forever.

Tanner was one of my most precious students… we had so much fun, joy, and we loved each day of life!! He had such a sweet smile and Cynni and I had will never ever forget our times with Tanner and His friends!! ❤️🙏❤️🙏

There are two things that come to my mind when I think of Tanner.  The first is how he responded to people he didn't know.  When he and I first met, he was not shy at all.  He talked with me on an adult level about things he liked (baseball, bicycles, hunting).  It was quite enjoyable.  Secondly, is the way he treated my then one year old grand daughter.  He helped her ride her bicycle.  He helped he in the swimming pool.  He made sure he was close to her and played with her so lovingly and carefully.

He was a fine Man, no doubt.
