Van Clifton Williamson

Van served 20 years in the United States Navy. He received the Good Conduct medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the China Service Medal.

Van is survived by his wife, Joy A. Williamson of 50 years; his children, Wendy Scarborough, Melinda Gonzalez, Bryan Williamson, Debbie Brewer, Randy Williamson, Loretta Williamson, Vann E. Williamson, and Cliff Williamson; step-children, Cheryl Ingle, Cindy Rhodes, and Rob Raynor; his grandchildren, Austin Sandoval, Kylee Johnson, Angel Sharp, Cheyenne Scarborough, Briana Sawyer, Audrey Boffa, Brock Williamson, Briley Williamson, Braelyn Williamson, Charlie Williamson, Jonathon Williamson, Rachelle Harris, Ryan Williamson, Jennifer Stutzman, Steven Skaggs, Anakay Stumbaugh, Brittany Lair, and Drake Williamson; step-grandchildren, Sean Burke, Cody Burke, Chase Burke, Doug Solfermoser, Heather McNunnery, Saul Raynor, Angel Raynor, Isaac Raynor, and Rowen Raynor; great-grandchildren, Poppy Ann, Barrett, Nash, Jacob, Mia, Norma, Nicole, Brooklyn, Journey, Chase, Chandler, Calvin, Hayden, Riley, Calliope, Hadassah, Aaliyah, Cana, Kaley, Payton, Emma, Beckett, Bennett, Landon, Caden, Laylonie, Maizy, and Marlowe; and his siblings, John A. Williamson, Lucille Burke, Junior Williamson (Eloise), Thomas Williamson, and Peggy LeCroy (Mike).

He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Elizabeth Williamson; a stepchild, Glenda Bailey and step-grandchild, Shaunna Nicole Bailey.

Van enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, playing family games, football, baseball and going on walks. He was a loving, kind and comforting man. He is loved by all his family and will be missed deeply.

The family had a private family celebration of life funeral service with military honors from the US Navy.

Pallbearers were Austin Sandoval, Charlie Williamson, Jonathon Williamson, Drake Williamson, Joseph Sawyer, Michael Johnson, and Brock Williamson.
