Viola Louise Dobbs

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Violet Smith; brother, Charles Smith Jr. (Judy).

Louise is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Rev. Franklin Eugene Dobbs; son, Timothy Paul Dobbs; grandchildren, Jillian Marissa Dobbs, Jacob Ryan Dobbs; great-grandchildren, Audrey Catherine Dobbs, Austin Bruce Dobbs; Louise is also survived by her niece, Rachel Smith Creswell (Jeff); great-nephews, Morgan Stevens (Lacy), Elliott Stevens (Katelyn); great-great niece, Saylor and great-great nephew, Bryson.

Louise was always known for singing in church and supporting her husband, Rev. Gene Dobbs in ministering throughout 45 years together. Louise was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt that will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation for Louise will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 35125. The funeral service will follow in the chapel beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
